Here’s a look at Wyatt’s “big boy” room. I redid it over a year ago at this point, so it’s finally time I share it.
I went for a subtle vintage sports theme in Wyatt’s room. I wanted it masculine, but still kid friendly, with things he could age with without it being too “themey.” I used neutrals, dark metals & muted blues.
I wanted to use pieces in his room that had meaning since our family is no stranger to sports. I incorporated some pictures of Tim (Wyatt’s dad) playing baseball, he played D1 in college, as well as my dad (Wyatt’s grandpa) who threw javelin at Illinois, my alma mater. Tim’s old baseball glove & little league game balls are also on display in Wyatt’s room.
