Bath time has always been one of Wyatt’s favorite parts of the day. When he was an infant and would cry just because, I would give him baths to soothe him. He loved the running water and a warm washcloth on his belly. And now our little water bug would spend hours playing in the bath if we’d let him! Sometimes I feel frantic during the day, with Wyatt constantly on the go (making messes everywhere), and with all of our activities and responsibilities around the house, time flies. It’s hard to remember what’s important in life, sometimes self-care takes a backseat, a basic and seemingly simple part of life that shouldn’t be overlooked. When I was a “new mom” there would be days I didn’t brush my teeth or wash my face, I know it’s gross, but it’s the truth. Wyatt’s needs always came first, and sometimes I would just be too darn tired!
