Wyatt loves a good smoothie and it’s an easy way for me to sneak even more veggies into his diet. He’s been drinking smoothies since before he was one…my husband makes one every morning and Wyatt always wants to try it. HOWEVER, his cup drinking skills still aren’t super, and if we do give him a cup we have to watch him like a hawk. In the past, we’ve tried putting smoothies into our various bottles and sippy cups, but they were either too thick, or the cleaning process would be too arduous. Enter the Infantino Squeeze Station…
Sleep Stories Part 1: Sleep Snapshot
Sleep is something all moms seem to talk about constantly, and it seems to be always changing for little ones. I decided to start a “Sunday Sleep Stories” series on Hello Hughes to talk about our experience with sleep over the first 16 months of Wyatt’s life. This series will have a post once a week on Sundays and some topics I will cover are sleep schedules, sleep gear, co-sleeping, postpartum sleep support, sleep training, and sleep while traveling. As always, comment, email or DM me about anything else you’d like to hear about or with any questions you have….
Hotel Stays With Infants and Toddlers
Unfortunately we can’t all live the suite life when we stay at a hotel with a baby. We’ve done quite a few week-long stays in tiny hotel rooms with Wyatt (now 16 months old), and a bunch of weekends as well. Surviving a Flight With a Toddler
baby sweatshirt | baby sweatpants | baby shoes
Wyatt has officially been on forty-three flights in his sixteen months of life and he’s now basically a pro. We just took a six hour flight from New York to San Francisco and he was SO good. Our seatmate was very impressed (and thankful).
My husband said that he thought it was way easier to travel with Wyatt when he was an infant…and although I could see where he was coming from, I had to disagree. They are just different experiences, there…
Baby Sign Language

Baby sign language is something I had wanted to do with my baby since I was pregnant. It helps babies communicate better and cut down on their frustration when trying to voice their needs and (hopefully) have less tantrums as a…
5 Gifts to Buy a Mama-to-Be
Wahoo! Your friend or family member is having a baby, time to show them a little love! My number one suggestion when gift giving to a mama-to-be is to check to see if she has a registry. Chances are she does if this is her first baby, and some even might have one for subsequent babies if a “sprinkle” is being thrown for them. Before buying anything, ask the mama or reach out to her family members to see if she has a registry going. (Sometimes a quick google of the couple’s names can find it as well!)
