Sometimes I feel frantic during the day, with Wyatt constantly on the go (making messes everywhere), and with all of our activities and responsibilities around the house, time flies. It’s hard to remember what’s important in life, sometimes self-care takes a backseat, a basic and seemingly simple part of life that shouldn’t be overlooked. When I was a “new mom” there would be days I didn’t brush my teeth or wash my face, I know it’s gross, but it’s the truth. Wyatt’s needs always came first, and sometimes I would just be too darn tired!

Living Room Reveal

Here’s a look at our current New York City living room. In our apartment we have one big rectangle room (29′ x 12′) that we use for three spaces: living room, dining room, and play space, so I’ll include sources for this whole area. It took a few tries rearranging this space to come up with the current setup, and it now works really well for us.
