My husband and I are both from the Boston area so needless to say, we are Patriots fans. And by default, Wyatt is a Pats fan too, he has this rattle set, this mini football, and this Patriots book. And during games he likes to sport this adorable jersey. I’m not a big sports-fan apparel wearer, but I found this perfect Patriots sweater and was sold, plus it’s super cozy for the winter games. Below are some other cute game day options for women, I linked the Patriots version, but they’re all available in any NFL team.
As a game day snack, we often like to make nachos or these super easy jalapeño poppers. There are only FOUR ingredients, and you could even make them with three if you want (as the original recipe calls for, I just like more cheese). Enjoy and Go Pats!
4-Ingredient Jalapeño Poppers
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 15 mins
Servings: 16
Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury crescent rolls
8 jalapeños
1 container (8 oz) cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
How To:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cut jalapeños lengthwise and remove the seeds. (If your crew likes spicy poppers, you can leave a few seeds in.)
- Mix 1/4 cup of the cheddar cheese into the cream cheese, and scoop mixture into jalapeño halves.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar on top of filled jalapeño halves.
- Open crescent rolls and cut each triangle (8) into two so you have 16 triangles total.
- Roll the crescent dough around the stuffed jalapeños starting with the wide side.
- Put poppers on a cookie sheet and bake for 14-16 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown.
- Enjoy!Adapted from the original recipe here.
